terms of service

said by you (saidbyou.com) is software for developers and founders. It watches what you ship — commits, deploys, launches — and drafts social posts in your voice. Nothing is ever published without your explicit, per-post approval. The in-product assistant is called calla.

You need an account to use the product. Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us at hello@saidbyou.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 18 to use said by you.

The Founder Lifetime purchase ($199, one-time) grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use said by you for as long as we operate it, including updates, for one person and one connected X account. It is a license to use the hosted service, not a sale of the software itself, and it may not be resold or shared.

said by you operates on API keys you provide (for example an Anthropic API key and your X account authorization). Those keys stay yours: you are responsible for the usage costs they incur with their providers, and we store them encrypted and use them only to operate the product for you. No metered fees are charged by us.

You agree to use said by you in ways that comply with the law and with the terms of the platforms it connects to (including the X developer agreement). The product is deliberately built so that a human approves every post and every reply is posted by you; do not attempt to circumvent that design, and do not use the product to send spam or engage in platform manipulation.

What you write — and what calla drafts for you and you approve — is yours. We claim no ownership over your posts, drafts, or voice profile. We use your content only to operate the product for you (for example, to learn your voice from your edits).

said by you is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from posting — including reach, engagement, or follower growth — and we are not responsible for actions taken by the platforms you connect (such as moderation decisions by X).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of said by you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You can stop using said by you at any time and can request account deletion at hello@saidbyou.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we ever discontinue the service or terminate without cause, we will say so plainly and treat refund requests in good faith.

If these terms change materially, we will update this page and note the new effective date. Continuing to use the product after a change means you accept it.
